If the editors ask for changes, you revise and resubmit, up to three submissions. If it still cannot be published, the order is refunded in full as credits, or to your card on request.

How newswire pricing commonly works

Press release distribution is priced in several different ways, so two quotes for “one release” can cover very different things. Models you will often see:

Pricing by distribution area: a city, state, national or international list, each at a different price.
A base price for a set length, with extra charges for longer releases, additional images, video or translation.
An annual membership or account fee on top of the per-release price.
Prices given only through a quote or a call with sales.
Subscriptions or prepaid bundles of several releases.

To compare like with like, add up what the release you actually plan to send would cost: its distribution, its length and images, and any membership fee. Prices change, so check each provider’s current price list.
