Terms of Service
Last updated: 15 October 2026
These terms explain what you and we are each responsible for when you use Vokolla, including our refund policy. If the English and Chinese versions differ, the English version applies.
Acceptance of these terms
Vokolla is operated by Mubboo LLC, 848 Western Hills Blvd, Cheyenne, WY 82009, United States (“we”, “us”). By creating an account, buying credits or ordering a press release you agree to these terms, for yourself and for the business you represent. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
The service
Vokolla distributes press releases to media networks. You write your release in your workspace, choose a package and pay. Our team reviews the release and sends it to the outlets of that package through our distribution partners. You can follow every step and receive a coverage report listing where the release was published.
Your responsibilities
You agree to submit accurate and truthful information; to submit only content you have the right to distribute, including its text, images, logos and links; to obtain permission before naming another company or person; to comply with applicable laws; and not to submit content that is defamatory, illegal or infringes anyone’s rights. The media contact details you enter are published with the release.
We do not accept releases about cryptocurrency or NFTs, gambling, dating, adult content, cannabis, tobacco or alcohol, weapons, politics, payday loans or unproven health claims. We may ask for changes to, decline or stop a release that breaks these terms, our editorial guidelines or the law.
Payment terms
Prices are transparent and set by the package you choose: a one-time payment per release in US dollars, shown before you pay, with no subscriptions or hidden fees. You can also pay with prepaid credits (see Credits).
Payments are processed by Stripe. Stripe may offer to charge you in your local currency; the converted amount, including Stripe’s conversion fee, is shown before you pay, and your card issuer may add its own fees. Invoices are issued by Mubboo LLC in US dollars and may note the currency you paid in.
Orders and changes
Before you pay you confirm the final version of the release and the package. Once a release has been submitted it cannot be edited. If the editors ask for changes, you can revise and resubmit it; after three submissions without approval the order stops and is refunded.
A scheduled release is reviewed first and then scheduled by the editors; choose a time at least 48 hours ahead. It is not an automatic timed publication.
Distribution guarantee
We will distribute your release to the outlets included in your package. If we cannot deliver what your package includes, you are refunded for what was not delivered (see Refund policy).
Each publisher makes its own editorial decision, so we cannot guarantee that a particular outlet publishes your release, where it appears, how long it stays online, search indexing or rankings, mentions by AI assistants, traffic or sales. Releases usually appear in news or press release sections rather than editorial front pages, and some pages show the name of the distribution service that delivered them.
Intellectual property
You keep all rights to the content you submit. You give us and our distribution partners a limited licence to copy, format and distribute the release to fulfil your order. We do not use your content for any other purpose.
Credits
Credits are a prepayment for Vokolla releases: one credit covers US$1 of a package price, and larger top-ups include bonus credits. Unused credits do not expire and can be used at any time.
If you no longer need your balance, unused credits can be refunded on request: we refund what you paid for your top-ups, minus the credits spent on releases and a 6% bank and card processing fee on the amount paid. Bonus credits are not paid out. The Refund Policy explains the calculation with an example.
Refund policy
Our Refund Policy, published at vokolla.com/refund-policy, forms part of these terms. It explains withdrawals before review, releases in progress, published releases, editor and outlet rejections, refunds of unused credits and how refunds are paid.
Limitation of liability
Our liability for an order is limited to the amount you paid for it. To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for publishers’ decisions, third-party websites, indirect damages, lost profits or consequences of distributing your release. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be excluded, such as the Australian Consumer Law.
Termination
Either party may end this agreement at any time. You keep access to the reports and invoices of releases already distributed, but no new releases are processed. We may suspend or close an account used for fraud, abusive chargebacks, content that breaks these terms or misuse of the service. Keep access to your email and Google accounts secure; anyone who can sign in can place orders.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will tell you about material changes by email or in your workspace; continuing to use the service after that means you accept the updated terms. Orders already paid follow the terms in force when you paid.
Applicable law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, and disputes are subject to the courts located in Wyoming. If you are a consumer, you may also have rights under the consumer protection laws where you live, including the right to bring proceedings there, which these terms do not affect.
