Vokolla launches an AI Press Release Agent: small businesses can now publish to AP News, USA Today and Yahoo Finance

Vokolla··Updated:

Yahoo Finance gets about 230 million visits a month. USA Today, about 102 million. AP News, about 79 million. The Globe and Mail, about 14 million. Getting a company announcement onto sites like these used to mean an agency, a retainer and a quote. On 23 October 2026 Vokolla launched the Vokolla Press Release Agent, an AI agent that lets founders and small businesses write, check and publish their own news, and distribute it through packages that include AP News and USA Today (Premium Media, US$379) or Yahoo Finance, Business Insider and The Globe and Mail (Global Impact, US$659). Prices start at US$69 and are shown upfront. Every release is subject to editorial review.

Major news sites, without an agency

For decades, small businesses rarely tried to get their launches, new locations, first major customers or certifications onto news sites; it meant an agency, a retainer and days of back-and-forth. Those milestones stayed on their own websites, where few people look and fewer believe.

The Vokolla Press Release Agent turns that into a self-service workflow. Prepare the release with AI, pick a package at a published price, approve the final version and follow it through editorial review to publication, with a report of every page where it appears.

Where your news can appear

These are some of the outlets in Vokolla's packages, with their authority score (DR) and estimated monthly visits. AP News, USA Today, Barchart and StreetInsider are named outlets in Premium Media (US$379). Yahoo Finance, Business Insider and The Globe and Mail are part of the Global Impact network (US$659), a separate network concentrated on 20+ high-traffic outlets.

DR and monthly visits are third-party estimates as of October 2026 and change over time. Releases are subject to editorial review, and each outlet decides what it publishes.

Your news deserves to be found

Customers search before they buy and partners check before they sign. AI assistants now answer questions such as "Who makes this?" and "Is this company legitimate?" from what is public on the web.

A press release places an announcement on third-party news sites, dated and on the record. In Muck Rack's May 2026 analysis of more than 25 million links cited by ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini, 84% pointed to earned media: third-party editorial and news content rather than a brand's own pages.

Write it yourself, or let the agent write it

The agent supports two starting points and the same checks for both.

Choose your reach. See the price first.

No quotes to request. No retainer. No layers of middlemen adding their margin. Four packages, priced per release and published on the site. Every release goes through editorial review, and each publisher decides what it runs; that is exactly what makes a published release worth something.

Links back to your site, and more for AI to find

Release pages typically carry your website link. Global Reach, Premium Media and Global Impact include a mix of dofollow and nofollow links, depending on each outlet's own policy.

That means more ways for customers, search engines and AI assistants to discover your site, and more independent, dated pages tying your brand name to what you do. That helps strengthen your site's authority and your odds of being cited by AI. Rankings and AI answers are decided by each platform, so we never promise them; we give them far more to work with.

From the founder

"Every business has news worth sharing, but most small businesses have never thought of issuing a press release, because it always seemed to need an agency. With the agent, an owner can tell their own story in their own words and have it ready for publishers in one sitting," said Richard Lee, Founder of Vokolla.

Who it is for

The service is designed for founders announcing a launch or a funding round, local businesses opening a new location, e-commerce and DTC brands launching products, B2B and SaaS companies with a new customer, partnership or certification, and agencies and consultants publishing on behalf of clients.
